Outstanding Thesis Advisor Award
In many disciplines, thesis advisors are pivotal in the education of graduate-level students. Each year the Outstanding Thesis Advisor Award is given in recognition of advisors who have demonstrated a high level of interest in and expectation for their students. These faculty members have shown continued dedication to both student thesis productivity and thesis quality. The award was initiated in 2000.
Outstanding Graduate Mentor Award
The purpose of this award is to recognize one individual who has taken an active role in students' graduate pursuits. The recipient of this award has mentored graduate students not only as an academic advisor, but has influenced the students' lives personally, or the lives of other graduate students.
