For more than100 years, Missouri State University has offered quality education at a great value. Over the years not only have academic options increased, but also the wide range of services offered to students. Included in the student fees are additional services such as office visits to a physician in our health and wellness center, admission to most NCAA events, campus shuttle service, e-mail and Internet access, recreation facilities, student security and tutorial help through the writing and counseling centers.

To give you an idea of approximate costs for your first year on campus, below is an example of the expenses for a full-time, graduate student living in a residence hall for the 2008-09 academic year. Your personal expenses will vary according to your lifestyle. 

NOTE: Students who enroll in fewer than seven hours in the fall or spring (four hours in the summer) will be assessed an additional fee upon their initial use of the Taylor Health and Wellness Center.

**      Based on 2008-09 full-time rate (9 credit hours per semester) for a Missouri Resident of $214
         per credit hour for courses numbered 600 and above. Courses 599 and lower are $186 per
         credit hour. Non-Missouri residents are charged $362 for courses numbered 1-599 and $418
         for courses numbered 600-799. Course fees are different if courses are taught via the Internet.
