Missouri State University

Provost's Research Forum

The Provost’s Research Forum is an annual series of open forums that highlight the quality research that is being conducted by Missouri State University faculty and their collaborators. The faculty presenters have excelled in the work they are doing, and many of them have international reputations in their particular area of research. The Forums are held once a month at noon and are “brown bag” events. The format involves two presentations in the hour, along with questions and discussion. These Forums are interdisciplinary, both from the perspective of the research focus and the anticipated background of those attending. Presentation topics are drawn from a variety of disciplines, and the speakers recognize the importance of communicating with those having quite varied backgrounds.

Since the first initiation of these events in 2005, the topics and research presented illustrate how Missouri State University is fulfilling its strategic goals. These goals include "Incubating New Ideas", as well as involvement in "Making Missouri’s Future".

Please join in and participate in the Provost's Research Forum!
