If you are a new graduate assistant, you are required to complete an I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form. Completion of the I-9 Form requires you to present documentation to the hiring department that establishes both identity and employment eligibility (see this link for a list of potential documents). If you are a new (first-time) G.A. and you have not previously been a student employee on campus, you are required to e-mail the International Payroll Office at InternationalPayroll@missouristate.edu for a password to access the new on-line Foreign National Information form. Once you have completed the form, an appointment will be scheduled to finish the completion of the W-4, I-9, direct deposit form and any other appropriate tax forms.
If you are a new G.A. and have previously been employed on campus as a student employee, you should send an e-mail to InternationalPayroll@missouristate.edu informing them that you are now going to be a G.A. and ask if you need to come in to update any of your paperwork.

Completion of the W-4 and Authorization Form for Direct Deposit of Payroll is to be done in the hiring department/office. Graduate assistants are required to participate in direct deposit.
PLEASE NOTE: FAILURE TO RETURN YOUR SIGNED EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT FORM AND COMPLETE THE I-9, W-4, and DIRECT DEPOSIT FORMS WITHIN A TIMELY FASHION MAY LEAD TO CANCELLATION OF THE OFFER AND/OR DELAY OF YOUR FIRST PAYCHECK
