No course with a grade below "C" may be applied toward a graduate degree. A graduate student becomes ineligible for graduate study if more than nine semester hours of "C" or lower are earned in graduate courses taken in the degree program, or if the student does not meet any additional specific degree retention requirements imposed by a department or program.
No graduate student may repeat a course for graduate credit without the written permission of the advisor and approval of the Graduate Dean.
A graduate student's grade point average is based only on courses taken for graduate credit. The cumulative grade point average is obtained by dividing the total grade points earned by the total grade points attempted.
To be eligible for a master's degree, you must attain a grade point average of a least 3.0 on all graduate work at Missouri State University and courses transferred from other schools.
