Thesis Research Funding

Each Fall and Spring semester graduate students can apply for funding to support their thesis research.  Awards of approximately $500 are given to help students pay the extraordinary or unusual costs incurred in thesis research projects.

• Fall 2008 Application Deadline: Monday, October 13, 2008
• Spring 2008 Application Deadline: Friday, February 29, 2008

Graduate students can apply for funding assistance to present their research findings at conferences, symposiums, etc. 

• Applications must be submitted to the Graduate College (Carrington Hall 306) at least two weeks prior to travel. Please be aware that funding will not be awarded post-travel.
• If more than one student in a department or program will be attending the same conference, funding applications must be submitted together.
• The maximum award per student is $300.
