Program description
The Recreation and Parks Administration Certificate is a 12-hour program that includes four 3-credit courses. It is designed to provide preparation for administrative positions in professional recreation, parks and leisure agencies at the international, national, state and local level.
Admission requirements
- A Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by agencies recognized by Missouri State University or equivalent education from a foreign university.
- A resume and a written statement of goals and interest in the RPA Certificate. This written statement will be reviewed to assess the applicant's motivation and commitment to complete the graduate degree and as evidence of the writing skills necessary to succeed in the program.
- All additional admission requirements established by Missouri State University and the Graduate College.
