Academic Integrity

Academic integrity is the commitment to and demonstration of honest behavior in an academic setting. As a student at Missouri State University, you are expected to submit original work and give credit to other people’s ideas.

What's appropriate?

There are various types of dishonest academic behavior: plagiarism, cheating, facilitating academic dishonesty, double dipping (a type of plagiarism), fabricating, and/or other misconduct in research. Familiarize yourself with these terms and the university’s policies and procedures.    This is a link to the homepage for Academic Integrity:  https://www.missouristate.edu/AcademicIntegrity/.  Please visit the Academic Integrity website to familiarize yourself with the contents in order to avoid these types of violations.
