Program description
The Graduate Certificate in Dyslexia provides a 12-hour graduate-level program for individuals interested in understanding the complexities of working with students identified as dyslexic or those demonstrating characteristics of dyslexia. The certificate program provides students with both theory and practical knowledge, including hands-on training, for working with students with dyslexia. The certificate is designed to equip teachers with knowledge of working with students in their own classroom or in an intervention setting. This is a certificate issued by Missouri State University and does not represent state or national certification in dyslexia.
Entrance criteria
- Undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- Undergraduate degree in education or a related field.
- Admission to the Graduate Certificate in Dyslexia program.
