Outstanding Graduate Mentor Award

This award, nominated by students, recognizes one faculty member who has taken an active role in students’ graduate pursuits. The recipient of this award has mentored graduate students not only as an academic advisor but has influenced students’ lives personally.

Nominees will be asked to submit electronically the following to complete the application process:

  • One letter of recommendation from a past or current graduate student mentee
  • One to two additional letters of recommendation from colleagues and/or students (past or present)
  • A one- to two-page reflection of the mentor's philosophies and mentoring contributions

Nomination process

All graduate students are welcome to submit nominations for these awards. Nominations are due by 5 pm on March 8, 2024. 

Nominated faculty members will be contacted via email with instructions for completing their application. Applications are due by 5 pm on April 1, 2024
