Our institution prides itself on the extraordinary work of our students done with the mentorship of our faculty. Our dedicated students have been working on research and creative projects that push the boundaries of our knowledge. The Frank Einhellig Graduate Interdisciplinary Forum (EIDF) is a celebration of graduate student achievements, and we invite all of you to join us to offer your encouragement and take part in the discussions our students have started.
The EIDF showcases graduated student research and creative works through poster presentations and art exhibitions. Presentations are designed for an audience with varied academic backgrounds, so jargon is minimized and explanations are clear. Abstract submissions are open to all MSU graduate students.

The submission deadline for abstracts is Monday, April 1, 2024 by 5:00 pm.

*For the 2024 EIDF, art exhibitions will be held at the Springfield Art Museum on Saturday, May 4 at 10:00 am. A brief awards ceremony will follow presentations.
Awards
Awards for outstanding poster presentations, virtual presentations, and art exhibitions will be given at the awards ceremony. The award winners for Outstanding Graduate Assistants, Graduate Mentor, and Thesis Advisor are also announced at this ceremony, along with special recognition for our Distinguished Teaching Assistant, Distinguished Thesis, and scholarship award winners.

Poster Kiosks
Poster Kiosks will be delivered to the Plaster Student Union for the Einhellig Interdisciplinary Forum (EIDF) by CNAS, MCHHS, and the Graduate College.
Faculty and staff may borrow poster kiosks for special events by accessing this form:
You can also scan the QR code on the door in McDonald Arena where the poster kiosks are stored. The poster kiosks are heavy and have various components to put together for use. Persons borrowing are responsible to make sure they can transport and put together the kiosks themselves. All parts must be returned in good working order in the bag that they are stored in. Carts are available to transport the kiosks. Units will be charged if kiosks are not returned in a timely manner, parts are lost or damaged, or the cart is not returned or damaged. For questions, please call the Graduate College at 417-836-5335 and ask to speak with the Associate Dean.
Poster Kiosks cannot be checked out/borrowed the week of the Einhellig Interdisciplinary Forum.
