Check-in details and tips for oral presentations

Students presenting their research orally are expected to check in at their assigned rooms at the following times:

Session Time
Session I 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. (set up at 8:30 a.m.)
Session II 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (set up at 10:00 a.m.)

There will be 2-3 oral presentations in each room during sessions.

You will have 12 minutes for your presentation followed by three minutes for questions. The room monitor will hold up a card at the 11 minute mark and at the 12 minute mark.

Set-up details and tips for poster presentations

Your poster should use lettering and photos that can be seen from a distance and organized in an easy-to-read manner. Posters will be placed on display boards about four feet tall by six feet wide.

The PSU Ballroom will be open for poster set-up 30 minutes before your assigned poster time. Posters must be hung prior to the start of your poster session and must be taken down no later than 30 minutes after end of your session.

For set-up, you will need the following:

  • Presentation materials
  • Push pins to secure materials
  • Your abstract
