Deadline to have name listed in the fall commencement program

November 7

3 Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition begins promptly at 5p.m. in Glass Hall, Room 101. Learn more about the competition.

 

November 17

Fall 2025 thesis/dissertation deadline: Last day to submit approved thesis/dissertation to the Graduate College (all assignments must be completed in Brightspace)

Deadline for submission of seminar report form for approved research project to the Graduate College (does not apply to all programs; check with program advisor to determine if form is needed)

November 24-28 Thanksgiving holiday (No classes/Offices Closed Nov 26-28)
December 1 Deadline for nomination to Outstanding Graduate Assistant Awards by the Graduate Student Senate. Nominations are due by 5 p.m.
December 4

Last day of classes

Deadline for submission of comprehensive examination results form to the Graduate College (does not apply to all programs; check with program advisor to determine if form is needed)

December 5 Study Day (No classes)
December 6-11 Final exams
December 12 Commencement

Deadline to apply for graduation (students planning to complete their degree in May 2026).  Students graduating in summer semester but wanting to walk in the spring commencement should apply for SUMMER graduation.  In that application, you can choose to participate in the spring or fall commencement ceremony.
