More about applications
- Applications can not be deferred. If you would like to be considered for a different semester, you will need to submit a new application.
- If submitting a new application after applying previously, you may contact the department to inquire if your letters of recommendation and transcripts are still on file. Most departments, however, do not keep outdated application material.
- Applications cannot typically be edited or changed once they are submitted through the Application Portal. To enquire about changes that can be made via a CAS application after submission, please refer to the GradCAS Help Center.
- If you change your graduate program, you will need to submit a new application. Each graduate program is a standalone program with individual admission requirements.
Cost to apply
- Application fees vary depending on the program or CAS. Please refer to the application for more details.
- The application fee may be paid online via credit/debit card. The GradCAS application fee is non-refundable for domestic applicants and international applicants.
- There are no late fees for a late application. However, graduate programs with posted deadlines will generally not consider your application after their deadline has passed.
