COVID-19 notice

Due to the CDC COVID-19 regulations, the Graduate College office staff will be working remotely. Please email the Graduate College or Graduate Admissions for the quickest response to your questions.

For Summer 2020 and Fall 2020 applications some programs are waiving the GRE/GMAT requirements. Please see GradCas to determine if your particular program of interest has waived this standarized test requirement.

English proficiency requirement

Missouri State is currently accepting the Duolingo English Test as proof of English proficiency.

The Duolingo score minimum requirements are:

  • Undergraduate: 85
  • Graduate: 100

You may send your scores directly to Missouri State University from the Duolingo website, free of charge or email your Duolingo English Test score report, including your verification link, to We will not require additional proof of English proficiency at this time.
