Supporting the Graduate College

As part of the faculty governance process, the Graduate Council is involved in:

• Acting on curriculum matters
• Reviewing new programs
• Recommending general policies to the dean of the Graduate College
• Overseeing appointments to graduate faculty
• Representing the needs of graduate education
• Proposing strategies to allow the Graduate College to fulfill its mission
